At Bedford Industries Inc. (“Bedford”), we use cookies, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies when you visit one of our websites (collectively the “Sites”) to help us customize and improve your experience on our Sites.
A Cookie is a small file or piece of data that web servers pass to your web browser when you visit sites on the internet that store user-specific information such as login details, preferences, and user tracking. The cookie is then stored on the device you used to access a website or web-based service. Your web browser automatically provides that Cookie to use each time you submit a query to the website or Services.
Cookies also record your user preferences, keep you logged into the Sites, and track the pages you visit. Cookies help us understand how our Sites are being used and help us to improve your user experience. Some cookies are required for the website to function properly, and other cookies can be blocked or turned off without impacting the functions on a website.
TYPES OF COOKIES
First-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are small text files that websites store on a user's device to remember information about their visit, such as login details, language preferences, and items in a shopping cart. These cookies are created by the website itself (the "first party") and are used to enhance the user experience and improve website functionality.
Third-Party Cookies
Third-party Cookies may be placed on your computer when you visit third-party company websites by companies that run certain services we offer. These Cookies allow the third parties to gather and track certain information about you. These Cookies can be manually disabled in your browser.
Necessary Cookies (also called Mandatory Cookies)
Necessary Cookies are first party cookies used to help make a website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of a website. The Sites cannot function properly without these Cookies.
Advertising Cookies
Advertising Cookies are third-party cookies that are placed on your computer by advertisers and ad servers in order to display advertisements that are most likely to be of interest to you. These Cookies allow advertisers and ad servers to gather information about your visits to a Site, alternate the ads sent to a specific computer, and track how often an ad has been viewed and by whom. These Cookies are linked to a computer and do not gather any personal information about you.
Analytics Cookies
Analytics Cookies may be either first-party or third-party cookies, and they monitor how users reach a Site and how the user interacts once they are on the Site. Analytics Cookies let the Site owner know what features on their Site are working the best and what features can be improved.
